DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday 21st April 2023 Insha’Allah. \nMay Allah (Ta’ala) accept our efforts during this blessed month and grant us His forgiveness. \nWythenshawe Masjid will be holding 2 Eid jamaats at the masjid: \n\n7am – Sh Salim\n8am – Ustadh Amin\n\nPlease take note of the following important points: \n1. Please arrive early as each Salah will be starting promptly Insha’Allah. The time between each Salah is very tight\, we cannot delay the Salah\, therefore\, if you are late you will end up missing the Salah (Salah precedes the khutbah on Eid). \n2. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the Eid jamaat you are attending. \n3. We have sisters provision for each jamaat Insha’Allah. \n4. Please park responsibly\, do not block driveways or park in a way which obstructs/inconveniences others.  A parking guide is included: WMA EID PARKING GUIDE \n5. For those who live locally\, please walk. If you are coming by car\, may we please request that you car share. \n6. For those who have yet to pay the zakat’l fitr/fitrana please do so as soon as possible by clicking here : and using the drop-down select fitrana. DESCRIPTION:Through the power of unity on a single day of action\, every year\, thousands of members of the public are taught Basic Life Support skills in Mosques around the UK & internationally. \nHistory \nLifesavers started in 2014 as the ‘BLS Mosque Project’\, teaching life-saving skills in three Mosques in London. By the Mercy of Allah\, the project has expanded each consecutive year – being taught in Masjids up and down the country \nThe Programme \nThe BIMA Lifesavers programme follows the BHF Heartstart programme teaching: \n\nCPR\,\nRecovery Position\,\nManagement of choking.\n\nEach of these skills are taught in a three-step method: \n\nA thorough explanation of the theory at the beginning\,\nA practical demonstration\,\nA chance for participants to practice and perfect their technique.\n\nThe course is delivered over a 1 hour session. \nPlease book 1 ticket per person. \n
